Yes, I also want that batch mode. Also, I would be happy if there were a WIN version of the App that could be used to convert older images in a batch mode. I, too, have a lot of older 2D images that I want to convert. The fact that the 3D conversion is so good makes this a highly desirable ‘feature’. Currently, I have to convert one at a time. I can use the smartphone sending the photos, BUT, I seem to not be able to find what folder the photos are stored (And if someone has the info, sure would appreciate it!) Thanks ---

You can easily just select the images and copy them to whatever folder you want from the LeiaLink tab in LeiaPlayer. For example, I copy my LeiaLink images to the Pictures folder. ---

Which is only available on Windows. If I want to use a standard HDMI 3D source like a PS3 or another OS like Ubuntu, Acer doesn’t support that. ---

It’s pretty much a beta product kinda expected to support only one OS right now. I haven’t tried it but I don’t see why HDMI sources can’t work with capture cards and the GO software with either the AI conversion or the SBS mode. PS3 can probably work with a capture card with the AI conversion or the SBS mode when you set the ps3 3D flag to always on with hen or cfw but most 3D games on ps3 use non SBS 3D and might be able to run it through stereoscopic player to change its native 3D to SBS. I’ve actually messed around with it before when I attempted with my XR glasses I might mess around with it again someday with my predator 27 inch. Also someone in the forum said a certain video player might work with 3D Blu-ray players with the GO SBS Oh forgot most likely lag when using GO SBS for games I just seen rpcs3 emulator can output ps3 3D games to SBS and works with reshade maybe 3DGameBridge would work ---

There is a GOOVIS HDMI adapter that can let you connect a 3D Blu-Ray player or PS3. I have one, it works with their HMD mostly (the most expensive one) but seems to connect on a PC fine (even with Linux and VLC). I could not get Blu-Ray to work on the PS3 (perhaps some sort of DRM) but games work. However they are in an over-under format, with a pixel space in the middle. So you would need to have some sort of software that can adjust that (or write a plug-in). I started looking into it, but this is low on my list. ---

A beta product? Kinda pathetic that Acer can’t handle basic functionality in 2024 when Nintendo was shipping millions of autostereoscopic 3D screens in 2011. I could understand that if the monitor was $500, but that is a disgrace at $2000. ---

I’m not sure I’d go that far. I think the software needs improvement, but it does work well when it works. Pretty much the gaming software is rock solid, and there are at least like 200 games or more than work great. The 2D-to-3D can be a hit or miss, but after adjusting the quality and 3D settings I think it looks pretty good. And the quality of the display itself is amazing. My main disappointment was with the media player, it just has issues with many codecs, so when trying random video files there is a good chance it won’t work (I might have tried like 5 different movies, and 2 had no sound, not a good ratio). The way the SpatialLabs Go software works is also wonky, like you might click the button and nothing happens, or you click and it gives an error saying you need to be in fullscreen mode (except you are already in fullscreen mode). Glitches like that. So I think they need to work on these things, the hardware is quite good. ---

They did. But they only have 10 games confirmed for launch. This seems low, but if they are investing in continuous updates, seems okay to me. ---

I certainly hope not. I hope they create or adopt an open standard because 3D will never take off if each manufacturer has their own proprietary ecosystem. ---

3D games doesn’t need any standard because they’re 3D polygons. The information to know depth are there designed in a 3D environment, Unreal or Unity most of them, which is easy to decode. In fact is because that there are LOTS of Stereoscopic 3D drivers and methods to play in 3D. So, the bigger impediment is the lack of 3D displays, not the system used to watch in 3D. Being said that, I hope Spatial format output becomes a standard also for any computer content, not only for photo and video files. Like it it HDMI’s frame-packing output format.
