Hello, I just received the new Odyssey 3D Leia3R monitor. I’m wondering if is there programs for PC that will run on any LeiaSR PC monitor (not designed for use only with Acer SpatialLabs). ---

Is that a coincidence of names, or are Samsung using Leia hardware? I just received the Samsung Odyssey 3D G90XF. Is that the same monitor? ---

It is the same monitor. When you install the Reality Hub the LeiaSR dashboard is also installed, so yes, it is also a LeiaSR display. I confirmed by developing a small Holographic game for LeiaSR, it worked flawlessly without doing anything, simply opening the game. ---

If I am working on a 3D modeling application, and I want to support the monitor, can I do that by only working with the LeiaSR team? I was attempting to find the right person at Samsung, but that’s not easy. ---

I have the same question. I’ve had no success writing Samsung directly nor any responses on their developer forums. ---

You only have to use the LeiaSR SDK, or the Unity plugin, or the Unreal plugin. So I got the Samsung Odyssey 3D a week ago, and have been testing it and verifying what works. Just launched my 3D gaming plug-in, which converts hundreds of games into 3D. I’ve focused on Odyssey 3D support recently, and launched that today, though the SpatialLabs displays (and various legacy 3D modes) also work. I don’t have a list, but that’s a good idea. The best one I saw was Still Wakes the Deep. Assassin’s Creed Shadows also works great. The new RoboCop game (Rogue City) was also amazing. I tested probably 5 or 10 other games, but those were the 3 that were 100% and worked well with the game.
