I have a couple Lume Pad 2 that were bought for prototyping some ideas. I am trying to get started with some development (trying for both Unity and Native Android) but I cannot seem to access any of the developer resources. I see links to both:
which requires a password, and developer documentation on GitBook (accessed via GitBook) which requires an account and then complains my account does not have permission to access the resources.
Do I need to request some passwords / access permissions to get started?
They also seem to have pulled several SDK’s from their github including c++ windows SDK that I am using. I hope there’s word on this soon and things come back. I really hope nothing malicious is behind this
I guess if you’ve already got an SDK installer on your hard-drive, don’t lose it. If you don’t, well, you’re not going to get one from Leia without going through the hoops.
I think this is crazy. I’d love for any explanations for this other than corporate greed. I feel like because of the Oddysy 3D’s release, there was a huge uptick in resource downloads and decided to lock this stuff down. These displays are the farthest thing from cheap, and people should have the right to do what they want with their hardware. Leia, 3D tech has been through enough. Do not be the villain that kills this tech too, and put your resources back up
Access to the developer resources is restricted, so you will need to request permissions directly from Leia. The downloads page and GitBook documentation are only available to approved developer accounts. The best next step is to contact Leia through their official developer support or contact form to request access. Once your account is enabled, you should be able to download the SDKs and view the Unity and Android documentation.
If you are also exploring broader development support beyond the official resources, you might find services like Idea Maker’s custom software development useful for handling specialized or complex project needs.
