My Lume Pad tablet was running slowly, so I held down the power button to access the power down, restart, and screenshot options, and I selected restart. Now it’s stuck on black background loading screen and would not go any further.
I have tried holding down the power button to force it off, but it just restarts instead of shutting off completely but the full black screen.
It’s had similar issues before, but a reboot usually fixed it. Any advice on how to resolve this?
While a long power button press often can reset the Lume Pad, there are other options. Please contact our team at help@leiainc.com with the particulars of your Lume Pad or Lume Pad 2.

If your Lume Pad is stuck on a black screen after restarting, it’s likely experiencing a boot issue. First, try holding the power button for 30 seconds to force a shutdown, then wait a minute and turn it back on. If that doesn’t work, boot into recovery mode by holding Volume Up and the Power button simultaneously, then choose “Reboot System Now” or “Wipe Cache Partition” to fix temporary glitches. As a last resort, perform a factory reset from recovery mode, but note this will erase all data. If the issue persists, contact Lume Pad support for assistance.
