My Lume pad tablet was acting slow so I held the power button for the power down, restart, screenshot options and tapped restart. Now it is stuck at “system loading…” and won’t go any farther. I’ve tried holding down the power button to turn it off and then back on but it just restarts it won’t shut off. It’s had issues like this before but corrected itself when I rebooted it. Here is what it’s at…
Hi @Tkhugus, that behavior isn’t normal. Please reach out to help@leiainc.com and they’ll do what they can to get you sorted.
My Lume pad also stuck at System loading…
It happend few times whenever I switch on. But it used to boot in after few minutes.
But this time it is taking so much time.
I had to force restart. But still the same.
Just today my Lume Pad is doing the same!!
I even can’t shutdown it, the message “System loading…” appears on screen after the Leia bootup logo, and I can’t do anything to shutdown. If I maintain power button for several seconds the device simply reboots with same results, so, if I left the device charging after several minutes it continue appearing that message, and if I left the device not connected to power supply it will be in that state for several hours until the battery is drained.
You’ll probably have to factory reset the tablet, that’s what I had to do, twice. It was the only solution they have me that worked, i just hope you had Google backing up your files.
How the hell could I do a factory reset if the system never loads up.
Hi @Kano3D @balajis17 please reach out to help@leiainc.com if you need additional support for legacy device Lume Pad 1. They will do what they can to help trouble shoot.
We’re sorry to hear the forced restart did not work. However, the last option to
restore your current Lume Pad is to perform a factory reset/wipe data, from the
Android Debug menu.
If your Lume Pad is stuck in the "System loading…"screen and booting up as it
should:
-
Ensure the Lume Pad is charged on the Lume Pads fast charger for at least
an hour. -
Press the Volume Up and the Power Button together until you see Lume Pad
Restart. (This could take around 10 seconds)
- While still holding the Volume Up Button, release the Power Button right
after you see the Lume Pad restart. Tip: release the power button before
the Lume Pad splash screen appears.
- Keep holding the Volume Up button for several more seconds (around 5+
seconds) while the Lume Pad restarts and goes though the Lume Pad and Leia
Logo splash screens.
- Soon the Lume Pad will go into the Android Debug mode, displaying the "no
command" text and the Bugdroid Android Mascot on its back in the center of
the screen with an “!” icon above the image.
- Once the Lume Pad is in the Android Debug mode above, press and hold the
Power button while you press/tap the Volume Up button once to proceed into
the Android Recovery Menu. Release the Power Button.
- In the Android Recovery Menu, press the Volume Up/Down buttons to scroll
up/down to highlight the selection “Wipe data/factory reset”.
-
After highlighting “Wipe data/factory reset”, press/tap the Power button to
select that operation. -
On the ensuing are you sure confirmation “Wipe all user data?” screen, use
the volume button to select yes and press the power button to factory reset
the Lume Pad.
- The Android Recovery Menu will come back up again after the Wipe
data/factory reset operation is complete.
- Use the Volume up and Down buttons to highlight “Reboot system now” and
select the operation by pressing the power button.
- After the Lume Pad is factory reset and rebooted, it should come back up
No luck. Tried all methods
After restoring to defaults the device did the same for some minutes, but then finally booted up.
But now the problem is, I can’t login to my Leia account with any of the Leia Apps. It seems there’s a problem with the google account.
