3D Video to VR

Is it a simple task to have 3D Video “converted” to VR viewing?
Is it even a conversion or just standard playback?
I own a Quest and curious if I can dust it off and utilize it?

Edit: To clarify, I mean 3D. Not Flat video that feels like watching it in 100" screen in VR. Not Theatre viewing.

Yes, usually no conversion needed. Just use a VR media player that supports SBS. If your files aren’t SBS, then you just convert them to SBS.

You’ll be able to view them in 3D on the VR headset.
