Full SBS to Half SBS?

I have downloaded MKV videos and although they play perfectly on the LP2 I cannot play them on my 3DTV. Can someone please tell me the best way to convert videos from full to half Side-By-Side?

You should be able to resize video files with FFMPEG.

I didnt get on with FFMPEG at all. But just now I found by trial and error a very easy way of doing it in OpenShot Video Editor. I open the FSBS, set the Scale to crop (a misleading term) and Scale x to 50%. The result on export is a perfect HSBS in MP4.

Use Stereo Movie Maker. It does all this stuff.

Thanks. It wants codecs. It wont open any files.
