LeiaTube is all new for Lume Pad 2! The new LeiaTube lets you browse a bunch of curated content from YouTube and Vimeo in various categories like Sports, Nature, Entertainment, and Gaming, with new content added all the time. All the content has been hand-selected to ensure that it looks phenomenal on Lume Pad 2, whether it’s native 3D or VR180/360 content or 2D content being converted using Leia’s 3D•AI.
As always, you can share any streaming video from the web (as long as it’s not DRM-protected) and it’ll play back automatically in 3D in LeiaTube. We’ve also added a new page (with the “+” symbol) describing the share feature with a new “Paste URL” feature too in case sharing from your source is too complicated.
And LeiaTube still auto-detects your source, so if it’s native 3D, it’ll play back without any conversion needed! And of course if LeiaTube happens to get it wrong, you can manually change the format in the top right corner of LeiaTube’s video playback screen under the ellipsis menu.
