November 4, 2024 LeiaTube isn’t working for on any of the handful of websites the have worked just fine in the past including YouTube. …both LP1 and LP2 . I’ve posted this on a few FaceBook pages and see other affect, so not unique to me. Best wishes to whomever works on this and gets it fixed. Thank you! g

LeiaTube 2.5.122 was deployed yesterday and does resolve the error for YouTube videos. We can not resolve the error with some/random Vimeo videos which get blocked when Vimeo throttles our plug in.

That’s great Eric, and I appreciate the effort, but we’re no seeing that on our fully functional Lume Pad 1’s stuck on 0.2.11. I appreciate the problems with product support, but…

It was an interoperability bug fix. I don’t have the details, however, it was decided not to continue maintaining the code, apps and hardware for Lume Pad 1, with our ending support for it this summer. We are still offering Lume Pad 1 owners with issues (hardware or software) a deal on the Lume Pad 2 (message us a help@leiainc.com).
For those that still prefer the multiview lightfield tech, we are sorry we cannot continue to support the Lume Pad 1. It’s a technical and business decision, while we continue to maintain the Lume Pad 2, focus on getting LeiaSR into more OEM devices, and on further developing our depth neural network in Immersity AI.

Roger, the LeiaTube fix solved the problem for LP2, but support of LP1 has been discontinued, and will LP-1’s will not be fixed. If you “NEED” LeiaTube, as I do, you’ll have to migrate to an LP2. Contact help@lia for help with getting an LP2.

This Lumepad 1 is such a good device and LeiaTube was one of its main selling point, after people look at what it could do they wanted to get one.
Also so some YouTube videos only play correctly on the Lumepad 1 and not on the Lumepad 2 or the Nubia Pad 3D, I have repored they but no action was taken to resolve that problem.
I feel this is a special case and should be resolved
