Is this the correct connector to use? DIY Magnetic Connector - Right Angle Five Contact Pins : ID 5359 : $6.95 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits

Are the data lines used in the dock? Is the ID line used?
If used, can either or both be omitted?

I’ve only viewed the files in an online viewer, have not opened it in a CAD program yet. Are the magnets in the cover part of the file? Magnet sensor in the Lume?
And is the entire Lume magnetic, or are there magnets inside the Lume?

We can’t make any specific suggestions about 3rd party hardware compatibility and haven’t tried anything. If you try it and it works, let us know.

No, the Lume Stand is power only.

I’m not 100% sure, but I don’t believe so.

Data is not required to use the Lume Connector.

There are specific magnetic mounting points that are available in the CAD files.

The pins are too close together
