Lume Pad 2 Wont Charge After Battery Depletion

I had the Lume Pad 2 charging during use and it normally charges more than it consumes but it shut off due to low battery while still charging. The tablet immediatly displayed the red low battery and attempted to boot back up for a few seconds vibrated then shut back off.

Now any attempt to charge the tablet results in the same charging loop but never actually charges no matter how long it’s plugged in. I have tried using every method I could think of to charge it. Different power bricks (regular USB to c, USB c to USB c, varying wattage outputs, a Red Hydrogen One charger, etc) I tried plugging it directly into a smart power strip to bypass the brick, I plugged it into a Hydrogen One and set it to charge mode, and last hooked it to a Jackery so I could see how much juice it is pulling in real time.

Here is a video of the results. I attempted to charge it with usb C power, regular USB, wall plug, and car plug and it all did the same thing as shown in the video.

Any advice on a fix?

I have had this happen a number of times if l have let the tablet get to zero, 1 or 2 percent charge left … when plugging in to recharge using 33watt usb cable/charger … It simply will not charge and goes through the loop , as you have experienced!

What has always worked for me in these instances is that l then use a low watt usb cable (I have a 5V2A usb cable that works perfectly for me in situations like this) … and l plug it into the tablet and let it charge until it gets to about 10 percent … Then l plug in the 33w cable/charger and it chargers as per normal. No issues then.

Hope this helps!!!
