Can a tablet pen be used on screen with drawing apps if so which pen type is best to get.

Yeah, I tried like 3 or 4 pens, that was the best one. However, note that the Lume Pad 2 screen does not support pressure sensitivity on the pen (the pen I got was a generic one for any touch screen) so it’s not the greatest for doing art. But you can probably make some simple sketches.
what about writing and palm rejection?
Yes, for sketching and moving things around it does the job. I use Nomad Sculpt and it gives me a general functionality and I can export to LeiaViewer.
