That is bad news, but expected for a niche product. Perhaps you might release the code on git hub into public domain for the 3D community to try to fix it?

Could someone help me get LumePlayer working again? I have the LP1 running on LUME_UI_1.4.4_LPD10_RoW (latest version available according to the system) and can’t share videos via YouTube. I was running on an outdated version of LumePlayer and couldn’t play any videos so I followed the link above and was able to install version 3.3.43109 after removing the old version. Now the share function in YouTube no longer lists LumePlayer.
My Internet connection is fine as I’ve used this device on the current network before. I haven’t used the tablet in probably 2 years and everything was running fine before.

I’m in the same situation, the only solution Leia offers is an upgrade to the Lume Pad 2. The screen is much higher resolution so the images are much better.
Check your internet connection to ensure it’s stable. If that’s good, try clearing the app cache or reinstalling the app.
I’m on 2.5.122 and still getting “invalid request check url” error on most preloaded videos. Uninstalled and still getting the error.

Can you play the YouTube videos from your location on YouTube?
I just want to boycott this product… very frustrated with this company that won’t provide the update since PAD 1 config should run the new version… Just forcing us to buy the pad 2… Wanted to do a group lawsuit against them. For. One thing is the pad not having enough memory etc to support the new version, and the other thing is making it completely hidden for anyone to download the new version… I feel like they treat us as Stupids…

Leia support finally responded to me. They said Vimeo made changes and Leia is no longer able to make conversions like they did when the Lume2 was released. I love the tablet but support for the 3D content is critical, otherwise there’s no point. I hadn’t used it in a while and when I went back to use it I see the 3D movie rental was removed and I can’t get the AI function to work either. Definitely disappointing.

I just wanted to get lumia pad 2 due of having a 3d camera now… instead of the bad 3d effect on pad 1. But buying pad 2 and have leiatube not working is a big loss

Just to be clear some videos work. It appears to be random from a user’s perspective but I’m assuming it depends on the way the video is formatted or the codec used. Like I said, I love the tablet, it has a solid feel, the speakers are probably the best of any tablet or laptop I’ve ever used and the 3D effect is incredible with no glasses but they need to work on supporting 3D content. If you do some digging there are ways to manually convert movies through use of another app. I haven’t had the chance to try that yet.
No longer working on any youtube videos for me including my own which all used to run fine - they all give “Invalid Request”
I went to the Leia Appstore to see if there was an update, but that is broken too.

@eric @Nima YouTube is no longer working with leiatube, I too get the invalid url error (see attached). YouTube works fine itself so no issue there.
What can I do to help debug?
Is there something in the YouTube url that I should edit?

If you mean from my Customer Support request, no, not yet but it was submitted over the weekend so I wouldn’t really expect a response yet.
