We have been working on the problem and it requires changes in a few different places as well as the LeiaTube app. We have a mostly fixed version done in house, however, we have opted to not release it now, to solve another fault that comes up.
As soon as I know it’s fixed, and an update is deplyed, I will let you all know.

I’ve been having the same problem with leiatube this tablet is not cheap costing over 1,000 pounds.We just need someone to keep updating us as to when the update mite happen thank you sophie

Sounds like the YouTube app might not recognize the newer LumePlayer version for direct sharing anymore. One workaround is to manually copy the YouTube link and paste it into LumePlayer instead of using the Share menu. Also, double-check that LumePlayer has the right permissions enabled in the system settings, just in case the update reset anything. Hopefully, that gets things going again.
Leiatube playback is dismal on my new Lumepad 2. On the Lumepad it played perfectly. On the 2, I doubt it was even playing at 5 fps. I hope you guys fix it. Nothing else was running or in memory.
Copy and pasting any video like nk fails with an error every single time. I’m am so disappointed in my Lume Pad 2 purchase. Lots of apps gone and the few on it don’t work except for photos. I should return this and get my money back.
