Playing back 2D videos in 3D in LeiaPlayer has framerate issues.
I get a stuttering when playing back videos. It looks worse when ever there is camera movement. They play perfectly fine in 2D, it’s just after converting to 3D that this happens. The resolution of the video makes no difference. They can be very low res and still it does it. They are just regular MP4 videos too. I watch YouTube videos offline from time to time. I use TubeMate to grab them and save to the VIDEO folder. These videos playback perfectly when watching them through LeiaTube in 3D. They also playback fine in 2D on LeiaPlayer. It’s just when converting to 3D that this issue occurs. If I play a small segment back over and over again the dropped frames/stutters can be in slightly different locations. In other words this problem is not in the file itself. (The demo videos that came with this tablet playback absolutely fine in LeiaPlayer too.). All my regular MP4 videos have framerate issues when converting to 3D.
I have no apps running in the background either…

Also, when playing back 2D videos in 3D, in Leia Player, after 5 minutes the tablet starts getting very warm. After 10 minutes it actually gets hot. Very hot and the battery starts draining quickly.
(Which is NOT GOOD for the battery.)
Something with the 2D to 3D CONVERSION in Leia Player is not behaving correctly. The 3D demo videos that came with the pad work fine in Leia Player probably because they don’t need to be converted. They are already in 3D.
