@rico3D Yes, the plan is for us to upgrade the libraries and try to get most if not all of the photo editing features back into LeiaPlayer, and add even more like potentially adding basic video editing.
Hello, LeiaPlayer and SD card. Leaiplayer seems to need FAT32, but when I go to settings and format the SD card it always results in exFAT. I transfer a jpg to the sd card, view with LeaiPlayer, and then convert, it does not save the converted image. There is a message across the top og LEIAPLAYER that says need to use FAT32, go to Settings and format the SD card. Of course, the Settings/format will only format the SD card as exFAT.
How do I read/write converted files to the SD card using LEIAPLAYER? How do I format the 1T sd card to FAT32 so it can be used with LEIPLAYER?
That’s the same issue I had.
You can either keep it exFAT and just edit the file names from file manager, or you can do what I did and format to FAT32 on PC using a 3rd party program (just search FAT32 formatter).
Just keep in mind that you can’t store single files greater than 4gb on FAT32. That goes for videos recorded with Leia Pad 2 that you want stored on the SD.
I found that if LEIAPlayer transforms the picture into 3D and cannto save on the SD Drive, it stored them on the tablet under downloads.
I found an old ‘disk partition’ program I used when I had to repartition my WIN ?? older version to create a secondary partition for storage. It was able to reformat the entire 1TB disk to FAT32, and I can now use with Leaiplayer. If there is a file >4GB, then I will use a plug in SD formatted in exFAT. I downloaded another file folder app that has no issue with saving files onto exfat.
Note taken on file size. This limits the LUMUPad video size to about 20min if saved on FAT32. But no issue if saving to sd card with exfat.
Now this raises the next question. What is the format on the main tablet storage? And if I use the tablet for (say) a 1 Hr video, which will be >> 4GB, will it be stored properly? Is there a size limit on files for the main tablet storage?
