With the Lume Pad 2 quickly approaching EOL would Leia be open to unlocking the bootloader allowing for the community to release new firmware for this tablet?

Last I’ve read the bootloader is still locked and that prevents custom roms like LineageOS from being ported to it. I understand the need to lock it down while it’s actively supported but it would provide a lot of value to current owners that supported the company if we were allowed to install alternate operating systems now that we will be no longer be seeing any updates.

While we do understand the benefits of your request, Leia does not plan on providing Lume Pad 2 owners the ability to unlock their device’s bootloader before or after support has ended.
