Since ZTE doesn’t seem to be able to process my order within a reasonable time frame I consider to buy a Lumepad 2 instead.
Does it work in Germany?
Lume Pad 2 works in Germany. The LeiaFlix app only works in the USA regardless of which device you’re using.
However, we only offer customer and warranty support for Lume Pad 2 for customers in the USA because that’s the only territory we sell the product in.

I still consider taking the risk and order at Amazon.com (it’s even cheaper) if ZTE is not able to ship in the next days.
As for LeiaFlix I guess it might be available outside U.S. via VPN.
