Moonlight 3D for classrooms:
can I setup a local wifi, without Internet access, and have 20 or more Lume Pad 2s on Moonlight 3D?
If you have 20 computers to stream from, and your router(s) can handle the bandwidth, yes.
So one PC can stream to only one Lume Pad 2, not to several at one time.
Correct, that’s how GameStream / Moonlight technology works.
I don’t know about GameStream, but the latest version of Sunshine Server can stream to multiple Moonlight or Moonlight3D clients simultaneously. You just need to configure Sunshine (in the General settings) with the maximum number of clients you want. I was able to stream from my PC to both my Lume Pad 2 (running Moonlight3D) and my Android phone (running standard Moonlight) at the same time. Try it and see. Make sure you are running the latest version of Sunshine. I don’t see why you couldn’t stream from one PC to more than one Lume Pad 2 (within the bandwidth limitations of your network, of course).

Yes, I tried it with Sunshine and it works for the 3 devices I had available. I’d like to see how it does with 50 tablets.
There is a new driver that is like OpenVR Opentrack but It’s purpose is to output steam vr to 3d displays and works with flat to VR mods, UEVR injector and the upcoming UUVR for proper Geo Stereo 3D. I was using it with my LumePad 2 last night. It has adjustable convergence and depth which I adjusted for Lume Pad to greatly reduce the ghosting.
Wow this sounds really cool. If I can get it to work
I have a Nubia Pad 3D without pre installed Leia AppStore. How to download and install Moonlight3D. I tried to compile it myself, but I need an account to download the SDK. Where can I get an account
Anyone else getting dull not very pronounced 3d with moonlight? I’ve messed around with deep desktop through it and there’s practically no 3d
Ok with steam vr and VRto3D I can increase the depth tremendously but I’m getting lag during desktop capture and not the moonlight stream prior to starting it
Should have zero noticeable lag.
Try it with the standard Moonlight app. If you’re experiencing lag with standard Moonlight, then it’s your network quality or settings, not the Moonlight protocol or Moonlight3D that’s the problem.
Thanks it’s not moonlight per se because there no noticeable lag prior to starting the deep desktop capture. Something’s borked on my system because I’m getting it with my 27 inch and another app also
I haven’t tried it in a while, but if I recall it was only like 1 or 2 frames of lag, still fast enough to game.
Sure the lag is only happening when running deep desktop capture
the lag was only happing on deep desktop monitor and not the moonlight monitor and I Figured it out I had to set the deep desktop monitor to 720p which I don’t really understand but ok. I used the 3dtoelse reshade shader in sbs mode to adjust the 3d effect/seperation. I was able to play dead by daylight which requires fast reaction with very minimal lag while running it through moonlight 3d and ps remote play without my legion go wired to Ethernet but it does have WiFi 6e which I’m using
AI conversion built into moonlight would be sweet
