Moonlight3D for Lume Pad 2 and Nubia Pad 3D

Thanks I did check that and its on native, have you got games to stream ?

That game is not 3D. That game is in 2D.

You must be seeing the game in Half-Width SBS 3D before you switch to 3D mode in Moonlight3D. You can not switch to 3D mode when a 2D game is on-screen and expect it to work.

Moonlight3D itself does NOT do any sort of 2D to 3D conversion. It simply allows existing 3D games on a PC to be played on Lume Pad 2.

Open it in LeiaPlayer and tap the “3D” button.

You can’t. That video has DRM from Netflix and will not work. If you want to watch Netflix content in 3D, you must reach out to Netflix and ask them to work with us to support their DRM’d content in 3D.

We can only convert DRM-free content like video you shoot on your phone or videos from YouTube OR content with DRM designed to work with Lume Pad 2, like the movies on LeiaFlix.

thanks how do we know what existing games are 3d ?

You have to find 3D games or mod them to be 3D yourself.

If it shows as Half-Width SBS on your 2D monitor, then it’s rendering in 3D.

Thanks Nima ! That was very clear.

I went to Vimeo and downloaded an on-demand video I had purchased there. Then I opened it with LeiaPlayer and clicked 3D and voila ! Taichi in 3D, very soothing. This works well with Vimeo since they don’t have DRM as strict, when you download a file, it saves it to a normal extension and not some cryptic unplayable file like Netflix and others. It created a really good conversion, no ghosting, only comment is that i lose the ability to modify depth of field of view like with Leia Tube or others, but I found it doesn’t matter as much. Still pretty awesome.

Genshin impact looks stunning on Lume Pad 2… I think it’s 3D compatible, all I did is watch a Youtube with Genshin footage. I also watched a 3D video of Skyrim modded on max graphics, it looked so interesting on the Lume Pad. So after videos, I will look into gaming. Let me know what you find too.

I used this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.al.dlnaserver added the path to my videos then clicked the IP in green and shared local videos from there to leiatube. I suppose different servers could be used

I have seen that Sunhine is available for Linux, but no SuperDepth3D. I just purchased the Steam Deck and I would want to play the games in 3D with Moonlight 3D on the Nubia, without installing Windows on the Deck.

Do you know any way to get SuperDepth3D working on Linux’s SteamOS?

I have steam VR and UEVR Injector working! Using sunshine to stream an extended virtual display with iddsampledriver and OpenVRopentrack running on it. There is a good amount of double image going on with steam VR and VR games and I can’t find a fix except to adjust the world scale for each game which does help with everything in front of you but your VR hands are severely doubled. Uevr looked very good. At one point I was able to get rid of most of the double image by lowering the ipd offset below zero in the steam VR default.vrsettings file but there was still some double image left.

Will this ever work with a Mac?

If you can get Sunshine or another compatible Nvidia GameStream server working on a Mac, it’ll work with the Moonlight3D app.

Thanks! Will give it a shot

On Windows you can use ReShade and SuperDepth3D to get a SBS 3D image. I’m not aware of any other software that is still supported. I found this script which claims to allow using ReShade on Linux, don’t know if it works but might be worth a shot: GitHub - kevinlekiller/reshade-steam-proton: Easy setup and updating of ReShade on Linux for games using wine or proton.

How do I get rid of ghosting? I get it when I’m trying to use OpenVRopentrack and StreamTo3D. I’ve already changed the resolution to 2560x1600 in both, for my virtual monitor and in moonlight and it made no difference

You must adjust the content for the display. If your content is too high disparity OR too high contrast, you will see cross-talk. Either reduce the contrast or reduce the disparity to eliminate cross-talk.

What is disparity? I don’t know how I can adjust that with these 2 apps. It’s like the image isn’t lined up correctly

Disparity is the amount of difference between the left view and the right view. Based on your photo, it looks like there’s a huge difference between the left view and the right view.

Same issue with reshade 3d

Starting to think something wrong with my tablet. have same issue on leiatube also
