Moonlight3D for Lume Pad 2 and Nubia Pad 3D

Thought the same for some time then I learned you just have to disable “Hardware Acceleration” in Chrome and taking screenshots with Win10’s Snip-Tool or video capture with OBS works just fine. To be sure if that’s still the case I just tried it with DisneyPlus.

At what resolution? Thanks

Yeah but can you stream using that technique or do you need to download the whole file first and then apply the 2D to 3D effect via lume ?

How is 3d gaming …is there always ghosting no matter what ?

What is lume pad effect ?

The auto 2D to 3D conversion…

How is 3d gaming in the tablet …what games have you played from steam library?

Thanks. Can you clarify the process ? Do you remove HW acceleration on PC then stream via Sunshine to lume pad 2 ? But how would that convert to 3D ? Or do you use Leia tube 3D conversion effect on the streaming site link ?

This is not working, when i go into 3d move it just shows sbs, two imagines overlapping each other, I tried all the resolutions, what I am doing wrong ?

tap hold free fingers on the screen and wait I think… if you haven’t done so already.

This was not meant as a workflow for 3d watching content from streaming services. This was just to mention that screen grabbing and recording is possible by disabling HD acceleration in Chrome. You could in principle download whole movies this way and watch them in converted 3d in LeiaPlayer to my understanding.
There are also tools for non-realtime 2dto3d conversion (like Owl3d) which generate a sbs video which then can be streamed with Moonlight3D to the tablet.

I have it’s just side by side images over each other.

Are you using Sunshine to stream from PC ? And moonlight 3D app ? If so, it should work fine. I can see a mirror of my desktop on lume pad 2 and then if I youtube SBS 3D pics and play that I see mirrored images on the Lume Pad 2 then tap with 3 fingers, wait a sec or two, and it merges the images. Maybe there’s something wrong in your sunshine settings.

just mooonlight and nvieda card, but I will try download sunshine, is there alot of ghosting with gaming ?

Didn’t try gaming but sunshine output is great and super clear with video on the lume pad. If you turn off 3D it’s like a second monitor basically. For gaming I think you need to use reshade like in that other thread, not sure how else to do it. Although I saw an app is launching to generate automatic SBS output for steam games soon but couldn’t find the link immediately. I’ll check again later but it’s not available yet, just saw an ad for it.

Still not working with sunshine. Is there still crosstalk even when you rip 3d Blu-ray. How do you rip d br btw ?

It does not work with gaming…please advise. I have moonlight and sunshine Installed but just shows this …

When I go into 3d mode. Please advise …thanks

Thanks Naun, and question for @Nima… when you store a video file locally on your internal storage, how can you run the 2D to 3D conversion process ? When you click + on the Leia Tube UI, it only offers two options: 1) supported streaming services on which you can just use the share button, 2) to use a URL streaming link like youtube.com/something… but other than these supported sites, which are very few, is there a way to apply the 2D to 3D conversion to local files ? If so, how ? Thanks

For example Netflix allows user downloads. I am a paid subscriber of them, and would like to watch the movie I downloaded locally on my lume pad in 3D. How can I do that, thanks ?

If Moonlight3D won’t fuse the images after you do the three-finger tap, you should check the “Video Resolution” setting in Moonlight3D. Before you connect from Moonlight3D to your PC, you should see the Settings icon (the “gear”) in the upper left corner. Tap it and make sure that “Video Resolution” is set to “Native (2560x1600)”. (On my Lume Pad 2, this setting defaulted to some other value.)
