Will the 2D-3D conversion that Leia Player can make be better for a portrait mode photo than a non-portrait mode?
some of the pictures I’m testing turn a little whacky as the Leia AI is not interpreting the space correctly.
It depends on the photo and the device.
In general, my opinion is that Apple Portrait Depth images look better than the original Lume Pad’s 2D to 3D conversion, but look worse, broadly, than Lume Pad 2’s 2D to 3D conversion, and almost in every case worse than LeiaPix Cloud’s 2D to 3D conversion.
But it does depend on the image. You can try both, if an Apple Portrait Depth image is detected on Lume Pad 2 it will convert using the embedded depth map. You can convert the same image using LeiaPix.com and then test the two to see which you prefer.
