Acer SpatialLabs Predator 27"

So some games it works and some don’t. I was just playing the game observer using the AI conversion and I was getting good frame rate but this game is better optimized than the other one I tried which is a poorly optimized game

Well the extended method is good for 60 hz and I was able to run the games at 1080p but I’m not sure if the legion go at 144hz has anything to do with it but I just ran observer with predator 27 only on at 144hz with the AI conversion and got great frame rate so I think it depends on how optimized the game is and running a monitor at high refresh

That’s great information. I will give that a go. Thanks.

I would like to program things for SpatialLabs, but not paying so much more than the regular version

What I have been testing with so far is just outputting my app to SBS full screen format, and then using SpatialLabs Go to make it into 3D. It does work, but it seems like it’s limited to around 30 FPS or something. Which is fine for simple apps, but would be too slow for games as an example.

Honestly it’s strange. Like I understand this stuff is super complicated, but I don’t get how these companies are investing millions of dollars on hardware and then not having proper software support. The Acer TruGame app actually works great, and they have been updating it frequency. But the video player and conversion app could use a lot of work and it just doesn’t make sense.

Bluestacks is so cool with it I was playing max payne with the GO AI conversion

This thread is more recent so I post this here:

I’ve notice in the Spatiallabs Experience Center under the Settings tab, when you choose 2D, there is a 2D to 3D Convergence, there are three settings, Performance / Balanced / Quality, when running Spatiallabs Go, I’ve noticed Quality mode is a little slow on adjusting the pop out degree of certain area when playing a fast moving game (Mostly around the Head of the character of Elden Ring / Helldiver 2 / Final Fantasy XVI), other than that I haven’t notice any other differences, anyone knows what this setting actually do other than the above behavior?

I haven’t, but I assume it effects the quality of the depth estimation. Generally you would get higher performance for lower quality. From what I’ve seen the difference between settings isn’t massive, I guess just adjust for taste.

For video Stream To 3D looks insane compared to GO’s AI

I can only use the performance setting for GO I get distorted waviness with balanced and quality

Hmm… I feel like an idiot. I didn’t realize you could change the quality on the Go conversion. On the quality settings it looks A LOT better. On the default yeah, it’s pretty wavy and weird. Hmm… need to test this more.

Using OpenVRopentrack steam vr, an iPhone with head tracker app, opentrack and joy-cons as vr controllers with driver4vr is pretty amazing! SLR with Deo VR is pretty amazing to!

Edit: a better option is using VRto3D with head tracking mapped to right stick feature. I got it to work on right joycon by using a program called betterjoy

It seems like Black myth Wukong is coming to Truegame. At the CES 2025 they were demonstrating this game on the 27" model, I saw one of the journalist saying it’s currently in beta phase and publishing in Feb. I wish they could also make 3D profile for games like Elden Ring or Armored Core 6, it’d be beautiful to see it in 3D action.
