I haven’t used my Lime Pad 2 for glasses free 3D for a while (mostly been doing browser testing). When I now try to do that I get no images. For example, LeiaPix shows all of the details of the gallery, but no thumbnails. LeiaPlayer shows all of the thumbnails, but choosing anything then shows a blank screen. LeiaCam shows a blank view, but if I take a picture the thumbnail does update in the lower right. Touching the thumbnail then shows a blank screen. LeiaTube plays whatever I choose, but I only hear the sound.
It’s working for me. One thing to try is to make sure your Android is all fully updated (go into the OS settings and check for System Update). The open Google Play and check all available app updates are installed. Then open Leia Store and click the Library and update anything that has the update button. Then restart the tablet. If that doesn’t help, then for every app that has the issue, long press the desktop icon, choose the options and then click Clear Cache.
Thanks for the suggestion. I started with LeiaCam:
It isn’t in Google Play store, the version shows as 2.2.5736. I tried the reset cache and reset data.
I had previously tried a restart, but this time I tried a power off instead.
I don’t see an option to update Android itself. The System and update section shows that I’m on UI_1.0.48_LPD20_US_001, and says the software is up to date.
Other apps I tried don’t have a clear cache option.
I have Dungeon installed, and it seems to be showing both eyes view to both eyes.
LeiaViewer appears to work ok. So does mozaik3D.
For what it’s worth, I live in the US, but am in the UK at the moment.
To reset your Lume Pad 2 to factory settings: Go to Settings > System > Reset options
Warning:Performing a factory reset will erase all settings, applications, and files stored on your Lume Pad 2. As all data will be lost, it is recommended that you perform a backup of any needed files prior to using this function. See more.
I didn’t have anything local that I needed to keep, and so went ahead and did the factory reset. In the onboarding I chose to not sign in, and checked LeiaCam when I finally got through all of the onboarding steps. It worked!
Had to sign in to Google to be able to use LeiaPix, and doing that kicked off a bunch of updates.
