Does the different memory versions have performance differences when it comes to 3d?

I’m not sure actually. The higher priced model comes with 16GB rather than 12GB of RAM (the hard disk storage shouldn’t matter). That could certainly make a difference.
It’s tempting but I think I’m waiting for better ones to come. The video from josh definitely shows the lag

If you check on the Nubia website they advertise the Nubia Pad 3D and the Nubia pad 3d ii, with a link to purchase the Nubia Pad 3D, but not to the Nubia Pad 3D ii, may be next year the Nubia Pad 3D ii will be on sale

Right. But if companies release products, and no one buys them, cause they are waiting for “something better” they clearly won’t make another one.

I believe that Redmagic 3D is a very good hardware and excellent 3d display. The Snapdragon 8 is top of the line, very very powerful, just waiting to be used in full… The software must be improved for the part that already exists and extended to more apps and with development kits.
It is not easy to write software for a multicore processor to keep all cores busy at full throttle and in a stable way for all possible configuration of the different installation of the system. We took the risk of experimenting and I think that the best we can do is to report our observations and opinions to Redmagic/Nubia/ZTE. If they sell the Chinese/English version to the world there is a reason (can be discussed), they certainly read this thread…

If the team at Red Magic from ZTE are reading this thread, first of all thank you for updating the camera app to support sbs export for photos.
One more very easy to implement change that would make a world of difference is a 3D depth range slider for the real time conversion feature. We understand that increasing the depth would make artifact stand out more, but that is totally an acceptable trade off for greater immersion to a lot of people.
This is my number one requested feature for the next update.

Just a question. If you open the Leia face tracking App, you see a text frame. If you tap many times below this frame a new menu appears:
Hide notification when idling switch, set to OFF
Max Num Initializations, set to 200
Max Time Of Life (minutes), set to 1440
Does Anyone know what they are?

They replied as soon as they are in stock they would notify me.
This sounds like they may go global

Yeah it’s like that. I actually didn’t delete it, it was there, the icon was just on the second desktop. You can just open it and load up to 30 photos I think and it will cycle through.

It’s right there on the top photo on the right. With a picture of the spaceman and it says “3D Frame”. You can also add it by long pressing the desktop, choose Widgets, then 3D Player.

Probably some developer options. I don’t know what they do exactly, but I don’t think it matters.
So I wanted to test the 3D conversion again. The YouTube app still barely even works. The audio sync is off by a lot (maybe a quarter of a second or up to half a second) so lip-sync is really bad. On top of that, the entire video (audio and video) freezes for like a half of a second every 2 or 3 seconds, so it’s literally unusable. The conversion on Chrome works better, and on the YouTube website it feels like full performance. Perhaps still 30 FPS, but none of the hangs and sync issues. That said, the 3D effect itself is ultra conservative. Like half the time I’m here wondering if the 3D is even enabled or not. I do understand not wanting to have glitches or make users uncomfortable, but the whole reason to buy this thing is the 3D and half the time I can’t even tell if it’s on. I don’t know.
