While I appreciate the ability of Lume pad to make viewing easier from different positions, it seems that feature sacrifices resolution to achieve that goal. Is it possible to create, through software, a more restricted view that would have higher resolution? Sometimes one just wants more detail in the image.
You can decode various image resolutions on Lume Pad, but the display resolution is part of the hardware and will remain the same.
However, because it is a 3D Lightfield display, if you carefully craft an image with 4 unique views the perceived resolution can be higher than with a pure stereo image.
