Sunsetting LeiaFlix

Announcement: Sunsetting LeiaFlix on Lume Pad (2020) and Lume Pad 2

Dear LeiaFlix Community,

We hope this message finds you well. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sunsetting of LeiaFlix on Lume Pad (2020) and Lume Pad 2 after two and a half years of service. Unfortunately, due to the expiration of our movie licenses from the studios, we are no longer able to continue offering LeiaFlix on these platforms. LeiaFlix will no longer be available in the Leia Appstore on these devices effective immediately, and the LeiaFlix app on devices where it was already downloaded will no longer have visible content.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to all our users for their patronage and support over the years. Your enthusiasm and engagement have made us overjoyed to offer LeiaFlix on our devices. We have cherished every moment of bringing you a unique and immersive way to enjoy your favorite movies.

While LeiaFlix will be ending on these specific devices, LeiaFlix may return on other platforms in the future. We remain committed to providing innovative and captivating entertainment experiences to all of you whenever we can.

Thank you once again for being a part of our journey. We appreciate your understanding and continued support.

Goodbye for now,

The LeiaFlix Team

I wish there was a way to view content through services like Plex but able to pass it to Leia Player or Leia Tube for viewing streamed content either SBS or 2D to 3D conversion. That would be a great replacement.

You can do this now with Moonlight3D. You’ll need a SBS video file on your PC and run it through VLC or whatever then to Moonlight to the tablet. It doesn’t do 2D to 3D but for any SBS 3D you have, like Blu-Ray rips, it works great.

I tried to get Stream To 3D program on steam working which does 2d to 3d in real time also using moonlight 3d and streaming to mpv 3d but couldn’t get rid of the ghosting that’s happening I’ve told the developer and asked if they can add support and they said yes but eta is unknown

I got StreamTo3D working on LP 2 and it’s pretty cool
