What is the maximum wattage I can use to charge my Lume Pad 2?
no one answered me, but Im 99 percent sure its 67w after testing…you will need a anker 736 and a special 5 amp or 5a 240w or 5a 100w cable. the anker 736 should come with one. its a very fast and does super charging. should go from 0-80 in under 50min
Thanks. Actually, I finally found a user manual. It says USB C maximum 33 watt.
33 plus watts meaning it does more…it definitely does more than 33w. I have a 35w charger and a 100w charger the 100w charging does super charging whereas the 35w does fast charging…i dont know why they didnt advertise this or say something in the manual
still dont understand I have the lumepad 2???
Super Charging - Lume Pad - The 3D•AI Forum (leialoft.com)
click that link to this forum and watch the video. clearly shows super charging and google the different charge types and find out the difference in fast charge and super charging
Thanks to all
I tested it, but I only had a 24W charger. I think I have another one somewhere, it did not appear to be fast charging.
I bought a 30w charger. It is much faster.
Nice… but 30w isn’t enough to charge and use the tablet at the same time…thanks for ignoring everything told and shown to you…the leipad forum link isn’t a joke. You need a 100w pps charger and 5a cable!you don’t just buy a 30w charger and call it a day, I suppose if you don’t like the idea of charging it from 0 to 80 in 40 min and don’t mind waiting two and a half hours, power to you…you can lead a horse to water but can’t force him to drink
I am now charging as you advised.
Actually I’m not. I decided to not plug in the higher power charger because in the user guide 30 watts is specified and I don’t want to invalidate the guarantee or have batteries overheat or explode.
And 30 watt charges from zero to full in about 30 minutes anyway.
But thanks for the advice.
Does it actually say “maximum?”
No. It just states 30 watt.
i love this.
I was told to buy a 100w charger by LEIA employees via email. like man do you think things and then consider your thoughts facts?
get a anker 100w charger and a 5a cable if you want the fastest charging, its not going to invalidate your warranty if leia employees recommend the charger.
Ah. Well if you have it in writing then it must be OK. Thanks. (The instructions should be updated!)
Sorry for being frustrated, yes there seems to be quite a bit of updates since manual was released…if you want a picture to prove it super charges at 67w I can provide…I basically thought what you thought until I saw the thread and tried it myself, was actually surprised…also it’s not exactly a smart move to advertise 33 plus charging… a smart move would be to say supports super fast 67w charging like all the other companies do
