ZTE Voyage 3D Phone?

You can get a 3D screen protector mod for the iPhone. This is probably the best option right now until someone makes a decent high-end 3D phone. Glasses-Free 3D on iPhone!?! For Real. » cybereality

Thats interesting. I have both too, but the ghosting is way less for me with the screen protector. Have you tried manual calibration in the Go Spatial app? If the calibration is set right, the ghosting should be super minimal. Much less than the ZTE phone. And there is the depth (convergence) slider along with 3 shortcut options at the bottom to jump between different 3D alignment settings to quickly find a comfortable level. The only area it loses to that phone in is brightness

To be honest, the first time I installed the screen protector I must have done it wrong, cause the ghosting was poor. Even though they are expensive, I installed a second one very carefully and did the manual calibration, and it looks great.

Interesting, I didn’t notice the app taking up space for me. How much space did it take up, like 500 mb or was it multiple gb? Have you updated to the newest version with testflight?

The app keeps getting better and we have more cool updates planned. Ghosting can pretty much be elminated using the slider or depth level circles at the bottom (usually the one on the far left). But if you watch stuff that has ghosting on everything else it will still probably have a tad bid of ghosting on this too. Never seen a 3D display with zero ghosting. But it shouldn’t be worse than other stuff, definitely not worse than the ZTE phone. So maybe there is something wrong with the one you applied

I found something out I have to share that I think massively improves the voyage and will probably work on the red magic also. Install universal media server on pc and use the app called x plore on voyage or red magic. Expand the Dlna section in x plore and go into universal media server and now you can play any video or movie that previously didn’t have sound in the voyage/ red magic native player now with sound without having to convert anything manually. Just select the video without going into the transcode folder. Also the mencoder in the transcode folder can make small aspect ratio and full sbs into fullscreen but it crashes right away the video on every one I tried so if someone can figure that out would be amazing. I have a 3dflickfix lifetime sub I’m using with this mounted with rclone so there’s zero downloading and there’s a good bit of half sbs stuff that’ll have good aspect ratio.

I just got a iqh sky tablet and moonlight works just need column interlaced format. 3dtoelse for reshade has column interlaced option and can be used with VRto3D. Iw3 desktop can be streamed to the chrome browser using 3DFV and I got my 3dflickfix sub working with roundsync, web video caster and sview so this tablet can actually do a lot at a very decent price but stock is probably running low. Also deep desktop can work through vrto3d with 3dtoelse or without vr in sbs mode with 3dtoelse but its hard to find a sweet spot for the 3d effect and is similar to using on lume pad 2 and the effect isn’t that great. I believe this tablet is better than lume pad 1 the resolution and clarity is better and 3d effect is greater

This tablet has 2d to 3d conversion using just sview! It’s nowhere as good as lume pad but it’s there.
So you can actually do this on any android device I tried it out with my xreal glasses and projector. Just set it to frame sequential and the format for your device in settings (column interlaced for sky tablet) and adjust the DX separation for more 3d. I’m streaming from Gstream to web video caster to sview with all new movies/ shows

I’m very curious what you figured out how to do with it. I use it to view 3D everyday, so it would probably be useful for me too if you figured out something cool!

Got it. Nide find! I didn’t even think to try that. I’ll have to test it out

A question to whoever has ZTE Voyage 3D: since apparently they use Leia technology, did any of you tried to install the apk of Leiapix or Leiaplayer or any of the major programs that make Leia devices so nice? I’m still on RED Hydrogen One which is still impressive in performance but I’m starting to have problems due to the fact that it runs Android 8.1 … The only thing that from specs I dislike for ZTE is the fact that no memory card can be added

Thank you for the feedback. I will stay away then. So, really a pity that there is nothing to replace H1… Leia seems to have completely abandoned the idea of his own product, really a pity. As a fan since first moment of this company, I really do not understand what is happening overall…really a pity. I see that recently Leiapix is having less and less contributions, but this can be understood since there are very few devices to access this artistic platform.

I second pretty much everything that was mentioned above.

I still pull it out every once and a while to check, but there is never anything new. It’s horrible overall and I do not think the display resembles anything Leia has put out so far. I would be really surprised if the display used their technology, because the 3D quality is worse than anything Leia has released as far as I am aware.

I think someone on the forums a while back from China posted that they hacked the phone and found signs of Leia eye tracking being used. So maybe some Leia software. Either way it doesn’t change the fact that overall the phone is terrible. Doesn’t even support 3D photo or video capture.

I am currently traveling in US still using my beloved H1, still impressive in terms of performance and reliability (it is connected with a huge number of Bluetooth equipment’s, 256Gb shooting nice 3D videos) but starting having problems: I can use data but not phone calls since apparently the voLTE is not identified by the network; I solved so far installing a voip service… and also troubles are starting for the Android 8.1 that I will try to update to Android 9 that I have found years ago somewhere in the net. But it is clear that at some point due to this backward compatibility issues I will have to move to another phone. Leia seemed to imply in the past willing to release a mobile phone with their technology and software, but I have the impression that something is going wrong with Leia… They are focusing more and more in software AI, and discontinuation of Lumepad 2 without a replacement Lumepad 3 is a bad sign. At this point I guess I should purchase an iPhone and Josh’s Spatial Glass. I am not an enthusiast of iPhone, since I have been always considered they focus more on marketing to justify crazy high prices than in the actual quality, so maybe a refurbished slightly older model (?) to pay an honest price: I have seen that Josh is now providing spatial glass for several iPhone versions (thank you!)! Any suggestion? Focus should be compatibility with 5G and 3D possibilities….
