ZTE Voyage 3D Phone?

I figured out how to use handbrake to scale movies to fullscreen in these players that have no aspect adjustment also add working audio and can do very fast encoding but higher’s better

After spending more time with it its a decent device the 2dto3d conversion is ok as long as you keep your expectations from being too high. The resolution in 3d is good. Would love to see updates with improvements this phone has great potential especially if they bring it to the US and others

You can get a 3D screen protector mod for the iPhone. This is probably the best option right now until someone makes a decent high-end 3D phone. Glasses-Free 3D on iPhone!?! For Real. » cybereality

Thanks I have it it’s nice i could be wrong but 3d content seems better on the zte but 2dto3d is better with the screen protector but with the protector I just can’t get rid of the ghosting without it decreasing the 3d effect and it so far only worked with . Mp4 and it’s limited to local video and pictures but am eager to see where it goes But both are useful to me. I found out the 3dfan app works with the screen protector there’s 2 of them the one is better but stuff in the browser in it other than 3d content and the movies they provide is flat

Thats interesting. I have both too, but the ghosting is way less for me with the screen protector. Have you tried manual calibration in the Go Spatial app? If the calibration is set right, the ghosting should be super minimal. Much less than the ZTE phone. And there is the depth (convergence) slider along with 3 shortcut options at the bottom to jump between different 3D alignment settings to quickly find a comfortable level. The only area it loses to that phone in is brightness

To be honest, the first time I installed the screen protector I must have done it wrong, cause the ghosting was poor. Even though they are expensive, I installed a second one very carefully and did the manual calibration, and it looks great.

Not to be a downer or anything but after playing many videos the app starts taking up alot of space and im very limited on my 15 base model so constantly deleting the app i dont feel like digging out the box mirror thing everytime and i havent found out how to delete the data its storing but before all this doing the calibration with the mirror i had ghosting but yeah i use the sliders which eliminates it. Should i be doing it in a certain amount of light? I havent tried the manual calibration so i dont know how that works does it require the mirror box also? Excuse my punctuation the keyboard on the voyage sucks

Ok i see the manual way doesnt require the box but its still the same after doing it. Maybe mine is applied wrong like cyberpnk said but its on very straight

Interesting, I didn’t notice the app taking up space for me. How much space did it take up, like 500 mb or was it multiple gb? Have you updated to the newest version with testflight?

The app keeps getting better and we have more cool updates planned. Ghosting can pretty much be elminated using the slider or depth level circles at the bottom (usually the one on the far left). But if you watch stuff that has ghosting on everything else it will still probably have a tad bid of ghosting on this too. Never seen a 3D display with zero ghosting. But it shouldn’t be worse than other stuff, definitely not worse than the ZTE phone. So maybe there is something wrong with the one you applied

Turning on 120hz on the voyage has pretty much gotten rid of all the lag i was having in 3d in mobile gta:Lcs. I have to test some more games cuz i recall hearing 120hz didnt have an effect on the explorer tab. Probably the game has to be capable of this refresh tho

Welp now it seems i cant replicate it but when it worked it asked me to restart the game in fullscreen mode but it wont do that now but maybe it has to do with running stuff in exclusive fullscreen when the 3d starts cuz i notice it sort of does this when starting 3d

Maybe its all in my head lol
