Make Lume Pad 2 and Nubia Pad 3D Feature Requests Here

Agreed on all counts. They don’t need to do much, this thing is already the hottest tech. Just need a depth adjustment in all 3d senerios.

I mean, I didn’t even know you could charge higher than 33w…complete fluke how I found out, also had no idea about face unlock and the fingerprint sensor

i bought the bastion pad 2? weird amazon has it listed as leia incs…i dont want 120hz to gobble battery life for next to 0 noticeable improvement in fluidity unless your jerking screen up and down fast while scrolling. like are you going to start posting the fact its not space proof, didnt survive a drop from a boeing 747. pink should be more red. or it needs a joystick

Hey @Bastion:

LeiaFrame only will display 3D files that Leia can play. Convert the mpo videos in Immersity.ai to SBS and you can play them in LeiaFrame.

I’m not clear on the file copy vs move and warning problem - are you using “Files” in Android? Or is this an issue you see with how LeiaPlayer is operating?

Have you checked the LeiaPlayer Settings>3D Conversion: Image File Management>Ask Me Everytime? Or has it been toggled to >Create New 3D image in same storage location?

For setting the screen referesh rate go to Settings>Display>Screen refresh rate, and instead of Auto (default), you can select 120Hz - or 60Hz to save battery.

We did state 33W+ and the spec that the Lume Pad supports fast charging, but it could be better explained and our team has helped many customers find a suitable fast USB C charger.

I’ll pass on your remaining comments below and request for a waste bin for the media page of LeiaPlayer, correct?

“Add a waste bin” (LeiaPlayer Media Page)

  • Have the option to disable Media logging all viewing history for privacy reasons
  • Update the instructions with information on higher charging Wattage"

Thank you very much for your reply.

I will answer fully later.

Any word on restoring resolution to the Lume Pad 2 cameras?

I have not made myself clear. Say I have a photo in the pictures folder, in Leiaplayer. I can rename it and also move it to another folder. But I can’t copy it to another folder.

And on moving a file to a folder which already has a file of the same name, no warning for duplication is given. It gets moved and is added with (1) in front.

The LeiaCam app is getting revised, yes! I believe a version is in testing so help is on the way!

I heard its already updated? if so thank you so much. leia inc will have a strong name in the future. I wish the best for you guys. only thing left is leia player changes…then its perfecto

Hi Eric
The update is great.
Is there away to give more editing control over 3D focus, so I can focus the center of the pictute and then focus the top and bottom and sides differently, or be able to align the top and bottom and sides of the picture differently to the center.
Also could there be some editing capability for changing the colour, contrast and brightness of a picture please

you should do all that with an editor…cells tablets often do a poor job…its up to third party devs now

Thank you @Bastion for the clarification on LeiaPlayer file handling changes/features to make the Lume Pad user experience better:

  • Copy to another folder
  • Move duplicate file name warning

I’ll check with Engineering and see if we can do something about that!

Excellent - I saw the update went out yesterday!

As for the focus, you can select the focus setting on the left slider, switching from automatic to manual as you no doubt know, and focusing on one distance. For the sides or top and bottom to have different focal planes, I don’t think is possible with only two cameras - but I will ask.

Onboard color, contrast, & brightness edit would be nice, I agree. I’ll ask and add it to the requests.

I am 65 years old. I got the 3D hobby from my grandfather who took stereoscopic photos from 1920 onwards until de died in 1983. He gave me a “stereographic” camera when I was 14. I used this 35 mm film camera until i went digital in the 90s, with two early digital cameras mounted together. When the Fuji 3D camera came out I went over onto that - until a few weeks ago when i took my first pictures with the L2. Its far better than anything that went before. But it is a bit cumbersome to carry about as a camera.

Why not bring out a dedicated 3D hand held camera in the same technology?

Check out the SpatialLabs eyes

Hey there, @Bastion

We agree the tablet is a bit large to be used as a camera. Leia Inc. is focused on bringing it’s tech and Immersity to every device! So in the future we do expect other manufacturers to have our tech on board their devices, which on a 3D camera as you would like or a smartphone that everyone is carrying now, would be far easier to use and more portable than a tablet!

Great!

Thank you

Will there be a 4K screen comming next year

Hey @Rburley, while our SR tech does support 4K, since we do not plan another Lume Pad, a 4K update to the Lume Pad is not in the cards right now. Acer as you probably know has already released a monitor at 4K with Leia SR tech. https://www.acer.com/us-en/predator/monitors/spatiallabs-view-27
