Have you talked to RedMagic about your observations.
It could be just the camera app is the problem
All the best Roger
No. I’m not in contact with them, and I don’t speak Chinese.
Ok
Please keep us updated
All the best Roger
Actually, the photos aren’t that bad. I guess the low light condition is not great, but outdoors in the sunlight they look good. Not quite as good as the Lume Pad 2, but still better than the other 3D cameras I’ve seen. These are the raw shots I took today (you can load them on a Lume Pad 2). RedMagic3D - Google Drive
THESE you call “bad photos”? You’ve probably never seen what nightmares other tablets usually make.
Hi
Great I will do that later today
How about putting some on LeiaPix, so others can see and label them from RedMagic
Thanks
I posted the good ones. The ones I took last night in my house did not look good at all (I guess the LP2 handles low-light better). These actually look nice.
Cool, yeah. I can upload them later.
They are up on LeiaPix. You can find my account (Andres Hernandez) or search for the tag #RedMagic. Honestly, yeah, they do look pretty nice. I guess I just got a bad first impression, cause the low light photos were like Nokia phone quality. I still think the Lume Pad 2 has better photos, but second best is not bad. Other cameras like the QooCam are noticeably worse. Actually. Well the 3D here on the RedMagic is definitely better, so I would say this might be the best camera for 3D photos, but not the best overall picture quality. Maybe I can take some comparison shots with the same content, or test it more.
Hi
Thank you for your grest observations on the RedMagic.
Very helpful.
All the best Roger
Hi
Just checked out the pictures
They look great.
Could you try some close up shots and long distance shots
I would be happy with that.
How did you post them to LeiaPix.
Thanks again Roger
Yeah, maybe tomorrow if the weather is good. I just copied the jpg files. They are already the right format.
Thanks
Might be able to go out and take some shots later today. Also, want to apologize. I should have taken the RedMagic out during the day before commenting on the photos. The night I got it it was raining, and dark in my house, and I just wanted to test it quickly, but the lighting conditions were extremely poor. Now that I look at the new photos again (especially on the RedMagic, but even on the Lume Pad 2) it’s probably the best you can get overall.
I added 6 more close up shots to the Drive link and on LeiaPix. Note, it’s kind of hard to tell with the pop-out, cause the RedMagic has so much less ghosting, the images don’t look the same. I’m actually not sure now if the photos are much different (between the Lume Pad 2 camera lens) or if it’s just that the screen is 2x as good.
Hi
Thank you very much
The pictures look great on the Lumepad 1 and Nubia Pad 3D
Nice colours, contrast, brightness, sharpness and pop out are all great.
Should look even better on the RedMagic new screen.
Please post more from the RedMagic.
Would be nice if LeiaPix could be ported to the RedMagic
As soon as the RedMagic is available in the UK I will get one.
Thank you for your help
All the best Roger
Alot better for depth
I received it FINALLY… With original case as a gift, I never expected it Will post my impressions & tests later, but I can tell already that this little wonder is worth every dollar they ask for it. That’s a pretty rare thing nowadays.
But first I want to mention some important things, that for some reason no one here mentioned.
-
- This tablet has Google services preinstalled, all you need to do is enable them in app list and then simply install apk of Play Store.
-
- This tablet has fingerprint reader
-
- Quality of auto-converted 3D is amazing. Not on par with native, but absolutely acceptable for casual youtubing or tiktoking. I never expected this.
